Music Society

The UEA Music Society is a student run body in the Union of UEA Students. The ethos of the Music Society is to offer musical opportunities to all students at UEA, whatever their ability or preferences in music, and also enable them to attend concerts and listen to music whatever their situation. As the musical heart of UEA we offer lots of opportunities to perform and listen to music in a wide and varied programme of events.

As one of the largest and most active societies, the Music Society strives to perform concerts of high quality throughout the year, with members playing and listening, and members of the Norwich community becoming involved as members of the audiences. Charity work is also high on the list of activities of the Music Society, with various charity fund raisers planned throughout the year.

The Music Society cannot function without the support and enthusiasm of its members, so get involved as much as possible and remember that it is all fun!

The Society's ensembles, orchestra, choir, wind band, big band and jazz choir, are open to all students at the University without audition.
