Chamber Orchestra Anglia perform at the Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts
Chamber Orchestra Anglia will perform Britten's beautiful Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings in the stunning setting of the Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts. Art historian, Tim Barringer (Yale), will give a pre-concert talk about the influence of the Pastoralist movement on Britten's works, with particular reference to the Serenade.
Also on the programme is Elgar's stunning Elegy for Strings.
Chamber Orchestra Anglia will be joined by tenor, Robin Tritschler (Welsh National Opera principal) and horn player, Philip Eastop (Professor of Horn, Royal College of Music).
