Auditions for UEA Symphony Orchestra and Choir

The opportunity to join the UEA Symphony Orchestra and Choir is open to everyone: UEA students, staff and members of the local community.

Auditions for the 2012-13 season will take place on Friday 28 September and Monday 1 October, 2012.

French horn playerUEA choir will be recruiting all voice-types for the 2012-13 season. The choir is open to beginners as well as more experienced singers. Auditions are informal and friendly, and there is no need to prepare anything in advance.

The UEA Symphony Orchestra will be auditioning for all orchestral positions for 2012-13. Players need to be of at least Grade 7 standard and some previous orchestral experience is beneficial. For your audition, you will need to prepare a short piece or extract - a piano accompanist will be provided. You will also be asked to attempt a short piece of sight-reading.

To find out more, or to arrange an audition, please contact: musicevents@uea.ac.uk
