Research
My PhD project is in Model Theory, with connections to infinite permutation groups. I am looking at amalgamation constructions (in the style of Fraisse and Hrushovski) with the aim of producing stable structures with prescribed properties. One particular goal would be to answer a question of Poizat about whether a trivial superstable theory can have a non-trivial reduct.
