Research
I am looking at pcf theory, a recent technique in combinatorial set theory which introduces operations on infinite cardinals that are untouchable by the method of forcing. There is a wealth of questions introduced by pcf, starting with Shelah's hypothesis that the pcf(a) is countable for a countable set to the question of finding a better lower bound in Shelah's aleph_omega theorem. I am considering some of these outstanding open problems.
