I work in different areas of moral philosophy: meta ethics, moral psychology, applied ethics (bioethics and animal ethics).
My PhD (UEA, 2016) looks at the importance of 'attention' in ethics, through the work of Iris Murdoch.
I have taught Philosophy at UEA (2012-16) and ARU (2014-16); previously, I taught Literature&Philosophy at the University of Genoa (2010-11). I started teaching at the Medical School in 2016.
Teaching in MED:
I am Ethics Lead and SAM Lead.
My teaching covers the Ethics sessions in the MBBS course (Years 1-5) and Ethics SSS.
I also collaborate with the PA Programme and the NNUH Clinical Ethics committee.
