Career summary

I have been a clinical and academic paediatrician since 1981. My training in both clinical paediatrics and child health research was mainly in Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh, I moved to a clinical post in Norwich in 1993, and have been engaged in many research studies based at the UEA since then. Increasingly I have become involved in UK and international collaborations in the fields of childhood injury research, social inequity in child health, children’s rights and child maltreatment.
