The research goals of the Health Economics Group revolve around a central theme of decision-making in health care. We hope to contribute to this by: 
 

  • producing and publishing high quality, relevant research;
     
  • creating a sustained local, national and international profile;
     
  • collaborating with institutions and individuals on researcher within this strategy;
     
  • maintaining a sustainable expertise in health economics; and
     
  • developing education programmes for economists and non-economists. 

The research plan is organised in several overlapping themes: Economic Evaluation alongside Clinical Trials, Public Health and Social Care Policym Patient Preferences and Outcome Valuation.   More information can be found by clicking on the links to the left.
