Key Research Interests

My research interests include costs and quality in UK primary care, including translational medicine. My MD examined the potential health gain of the GMS contract for UK primary care, including the alignment of incentives, effect of exception reporting on potential health gain, and the relationship between the quality and costs of prescribing. I am currently active in patient safety including prescribing quality and the effectiveness of Significant Event Audit.
