Care & Management of Leg Ulcers
Wednesday 20 September 2017 - Wednesday 1 November 2017
Staying Healthy & Public Health
This module aims to produce an independent accountable practitioner who will recognise their own limitations and the need for specialist intervention with the ability to modify their own practice and act as educators within their team/service. The module will facilitate this by provision of:
- Contemporary, evidence-based theory underpinning the care and management of leg ulcers
- A period of supervised practice in an audited clinical setting
- A structured assessment encompassing the above that will test underlying principles and knowledge and their application in practice
Is this course for me?
The module is widely recognised as required preparation for community practitioners who will be setting up and running leg ulcer services.
