A screencast is a computer screen recording with audio commentary explaining what is happening on the screen as it happens. Screencasts could be used to demonstrate software, deliver PowerPoint presentations, and provide feedback on coursework amongst other things.

This session provides an introduction to screencasting and discusses its value as a learning and teaching tool.
