Screen capture software records actions that take place on your computer screen and produces movies, handouts, and other media from the recordings.
How is screen capture software commonly used in teaching and learning?
Screen capture software is commonly used to produce demonstrations and simulations. Demonstrations allow learners to watch on screen actions. Simulations allow learners to interact with the content.

Is screen capture software available at the UEA?
Screen capture software is not centrally provided by UEA at the moment. The Learning Technology Group use Adobe Captivate to produce their own resources. Other commercially available software includes Camtasia Studio, TurboDemo, and Viewlet Cam and Builder.
