The Curtis Brown Prize

(In memory of Giles Gordon)
The Prize of £1,500 is to be awarded annually for the best writer of prose fiction on the University of East Anglia MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) course. The prize will be open to all students enrolled on the MA in Prose Fiction in a given year and will be based on the material submitted by students for their MA assessment. The winner will be chosen by a panel of Curtis Brown agents from a shortlist comprising all students in the year who achieve MA with distinction.

The Lorna Sage Prize

The prize of £500 is to be awarded annually for the best dissertation on the University of East Anglia MA in Studies in Fiction.

Lorna Sage Memorial Fund Research Project Award

Individual awards of up to £2,000 may be awarded to support research projects in areas of work with which Lorna Sage was particularly associated, for example, life writing.

The Malcolm Bradbury Memorial Trust Project Awards

The Malcolm Bradbury Memorial Trust will consider applications for awards of up to £4000 each for specific projects. These awards will be open to UEA Creative writing undergraduate and postgraduate students.
