Jean Boase-Beier has recently published 'Poetry', an entry in the Routledge Encyclopedia of Translation Studies, ed. Mona Baker & Gabriela Saldanha (London: Routledge 2010), 'Who Needs Theory' [as on current version] and 'Translation and Stylistics', in The Oxford Handbook of Translation Studies, ed. Kirsten Malmkjaer and Kevin Windle (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2011). She has also edited and written an introduction to Ludwig Steinherr: Before the Invention of Paradise, trs. Richard Dove (Todmorden: Arc Publications, 2010), and edited a further four bilingual poetry books in the Visible Poets series for Arc Publications, including collections by François Jacqmin, tr. Philip Mosley (2010), and Kristiina Ehin, tr. Ilmar Lehtpere (2010). Her latest book, A Critical Introduction to Translation Studies (London: Continuum, 2011) has just appeared.

Valerie Henitiuk recently published three essays, 'Squeezing the Jellyfish: Early Western Attempts to Characterize Translation from the Japanese', in Thinking through Translation with Metaphors, ed. J. St. André (Manchester: St. Jerome Press, 2010), pp. 144-60; 'A Creditable Performance under the Circumstances? Suematsu Kenchô and the Pre-Waley Tale of Genji', TTR 23.1 (2010): 41-70; and 'Prefacing Gender: Framing Sei Shônagon for a Western Audience, 1875-2006', in Translating Women, ed. L. von Flotow (Ottawa: University of Ottawa Press, 2011), pp. 247-69. She co-edited (with Supriya Kar) One Step Towards the Sun: Short Stories by Women of Orissa (Bhubaneswar, India: Rupantar, 2010). Valerie also secured the following grants and funding: a Leverhulme Research Fellowship (£33,286) and a Japan Foundation, London, Study Support Grant (£500),for participation in the Translation Studies in the Japanese Context conference, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto.

B.J. Epstein edited Northern Lights: Translation in the Nordic Countries, which was published by Peter Lang in 2009. Recent articles include 'In Name Only? Mark Twain's Dialects as Translated to Scandinavian Languages', in Germanic Notes and Reviews 42 (2011): 23-40. She has also recently published a number of short stories, translations, popular articles, book reviews, and personal essays, in publications such as Boomtown, Polari, Soundzine, International Research on Children's Literature,Mslexia, The Journal of Children's Literature Studies, Translation Journal, International Research on Children's Literature, Write Away, ESL Magazine, Translation Magazine, Diva, and Facköversättaren (the journal of the Swedish Association of Professional Translators).
