If you are a current UEA student, you can book appointments with our Royal Literary Fund Fellow to discuss the quality of your writing. Appointments book up quickly and there is high demand - so it's important to book these in advance. You can book by emailing the Fellow at RLF.Fellow@uea.ac.uk.
This year's Royal Literary Fund Fellow is Heidi Williamson. Heidi is an award-winning poet, writing mentor and creative-writing tutor. She is a professional member of the Association for Coaching, specialising in coaching writers. She has been Poet-in-Residence at the London Science Museum’s Dana Centre and the John Jarrold Printing Museum. She teaches for The Poetry School, The Writing Coach and SAW Trust, a charity bringing research science into schools. She also works worldwide with poets by Skype for the Poetry Society — with students in the UK, India, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Norway, Russia, Africa and the US. Her first collection, Electric Shadow (Bloodaxe, 2011) was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry prize. Her second, The Print Museum (Bloodaxe, 2016) won the Book by the Cover award and the poetry category of the East Anglian book awards.
