The British Centre for Literary Translation (BCLT) provides an important focus for the various activities in the School that rely on translation.
It organises a series of events throughout the year, such as book launches and talks, as well as the annual International Summer School in Literary Translation, which allows writers and translators with varied levels of experience to work together for a week in July. Postgraduate students in the School able to attend at a greatly reduced rate.
