Accommodation / Housing
The Dean of Students office can provide advice about living in residences and moving into rented accommodation.
The Students Union Advice Centre can provide advice on finding accommodation in the Norwich area and provide Home Run, a service to help students find a new home.

Childcare and Family Life
UEA welcomes the families of students and are working to develop and provide services, support and advice to help in adjusting to family life in Norwich. The Students Union Advice Centre can offer guidance on housing, employment and benefits.

Counselling
The University Counselling Service provides confidential counselling and support for any difficulties encountered while at UEA.

Health and Wellbeing
The University Medical Service provides healthcare for UEA students, staff and the local community.  Students and staff can register with a GP and receive a variety of services.
Student Wellbeing and Mental Health Services are offered through the Dean of Students office. You can contact them by dropping into the reception, calling 01603 592761, emailing mentalhealth@uea.ac.uk or visiting their webpages.
The Healthy and Sustainable UEA group also provides information on initiatives across the campus in the areas of health and well-being  and sustainability initiatives that relate to health.

International Student Support and Immigration
The University has a dedicated International Student Advisory Team (ISAT) to support international students and to enhance their experience whilst at UEA.  ISAT can provide all kinds of information to support International Students in personal matters, welfare, visas and immigration and make sure they get the best from their university experience.

Multi-Faith Chaplaincy
UEA Chaplaincy is a spiritual meeting place and community centre on campus  open for students and staff of the University from 8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday during semester time and on Sunday evenings for services.

Personal Advisers
Your first source of advice is often your Personal Adviser. They can help with all sorts of questions from guiding you through your degree path, looking at future careers and dealing with personal concerns. If your adviser is not able to answer your question they should be able to point you in the direction of further support. You can find out who your Personal Adviser is by looking on e:Vision.

Personal Security and Crime Prevention
At UEA we aim to provide a safe, secure and peaceful environment for staff, students and visitors to the campus and safe vehicular access to designated car parks. The UEA Security team can advice on personal and property safety, campus access and parking.

Student Fees
Many students will be required to pay tuition fees or accommodation fees whilst at university. Information about fees will have been provided to you before you started your course. You can see the Finance and Tuition Fees pages for more information. If you pay fees keep an eye on your UEA email address and your post for invoices. If you are having any trouble with payment of fees advice can be sought from the Dean of Students Office.

Student Finance
You might need advice on a range of financial matters whilst at university e.g. paying for your living costs, managing debts or being in paid employment. The Dean of Students Office has a team of Financial Advisers who can help with all kinds of financial questions. You can get advice in person, by phone, email or through a range of help sheets. Study Skills Support
If you need help to study more effectively and improve your work you can visit the Learning Enhancement Team for expert guidance on study skills, academic writing, use of English, Maths and Statistics. This service is free for all students studying UEA courses.

Students with a Disability, including dyslexia
The University welcomes students with disabilities. The Disability Team within the Dean of Students' Office can provide information and advice for students with all kinds of disabilities.
