Scholarships for Master's Programmes

UK/EU Scholarships

The School is offering five tuition fee scholarships which will be awarded to candidates who apply for the following MA programmes. These scholarships will be available to MA students who are looking to start their course in September 2013.

Eligibility: Due to funding restrictions, these scholarships are only available to UK/EU students.

Method of Application: All eligible candidates to whom the School have made an offer are automatically considered for nomination.

Deadline: To be considered for these scholarships, applications should be received by 1st June 2013.

International Scholarships

All international students (outside the European Union) are considered for a scholarship of between £1000 and £2000 towards tuition fees. In order to be considered for an International Scholarship you do not need to make a separate application. Please indicate on your application for admission that you wish to be considered for a scholarship. It is important to make the application as early as possible because they are considered as they are received. So apply early to make sure of the best chance of success.

Scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit and are for the duration of the period of study (which will be one year). Students of outstanding academic ability will also be considered for Faculty Scholarship Awards, usually in March and May each year, which can be worth up to 100% of the tuition fee. These are highly competitive and prestigious awards. Those students being offered a scholarship will be notified directly by the School of Study.

UEA Graduate Scholarships

Graduates from the School of Language and Communication Studies (LCS) at UEA are guaranteed a 20% fee scholarship to return to study for their Master's degree with us.

We are also offering other UEA graduates, who have studied outside LCS, a 10% fee scholarship to return to the University to study for a Master's degree with us.

Eligibility: Home/EU and International UEA graduates
