Non-Credit Daytime Undergraduate Classes
Studying a non-degree language at UEA? Why not join a class as a ‘non-credit' student by taking an undergraduate language module.
Language modules:
Each module consists of 2-3 hours of classes per week over a twelve-week semester, plus approximately ten hours a week personal study.
Participants are expected to attend all classes and do homework and class tests, but do not take an examination or accrue degree credits. A UEA Certificate of Attendance is given on successful completion of a module, if requested.
Language levels:
There are three levels, beginner, intermediate and post A-level. Each language level consists of two modules which may be taken individually if desired.
Continuation language modules require a certain level of competence of that language which may need to be assessed by the tutor before enrolment.
Some classes have early evening slots, although most are taught during the day.
Start dates:
Dates for Spring Semester 07 January to 22 March 2013 + revision week 15 April to 19 April 2013.
Fees:
UEA staff & students, INTO students: £150 (£250 for two modules)
LCS staff &students: £35
All fees include the use of the language resource centre but you may have to purchase a text book.
