This Career Mentors' Scheme connects alumni with final year students on an ongoing basis in order to improve student confidence and increase awareness of opportunities and how they might prepare for the world of work.

Alumni of the school are uniquely placed to provide advice and guidance on navigating those first steps into graduate employment, alongside the Careers and Employability services on campus. You will also practise networking, make contacts and get to understand particular career sectors and routes into those professions from those on the inside.

Students are mentored by those working in a variety of sectors and professions, including heritage, archaeology, advertising, marketing, public relations, arts administration, journalism and publishing. This one-to-one element helps to improve student confidence and awareness of career areas available.
