Mathias Siems

Mathias Siems graduated from the Universities of Munich and Edinburgh. He has held visiting appointments at the European University Institute, Harvard Law School and the University of Cambridge, and has taught at the Riga Graduate School of Law and the University of Edinburgh before joining Norwich Law School in September 2008. Mathias Siems is also a Research Associate at the Centre for Business Research of the University of Cambridge. His full CV can be found on his Website at Bepress. The main research interests of Mathias Siems are: company law; banking and securities law; comparative law; law, finance, and economics; European private law, private international law, legal methods. Mathias is happy to receive enquiries from potential PhD applicants. In particular, he would be interested in topics that explore comparative law and corporate governance in its socio-economic context.
