Biography

Gillian Daly graduated in 1997 from the University of Oxford where she obtained a BA in Jurisprudence, First Class. In 1998, she was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship and completed her LLM at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She was called to the Bar in 1999 and joined the law faculty in 2003. She teaches English Legal Process and The European Convention on Human Rights. Her research interests include human rights and trial by jury.
