This following sets out the areas of research of our members of academic staff and research students. It also provides links to the staff research pages (for further information on our research students please see here).
The School considers its strengths in competition, commercial and media law to be particularly important and is attempting to develop further strength in intellectual property and criminal law. There is also significant element of interdisciplinary work in the School. The School jointly set up the Centre for Competition Policy (CCP), in conjunction with colleagues from Economics, Business and Political Science, and several members of faculty are actively involved with the Centre's research agenda. We also collaborate with other schools as part of the network media@uea. Recently, we have also started a more general initiative in order to foster collaboration between all UEA academics interested in Law, Justice and Regulation (for the members of this network see here).
