Mandatory log-in password change for UEA account holders
Following the incident with data from the Climatic Research Unit we are rolling out a mandatory log-in password change for all UEA account holders. This began with Science staff and postgraduates on Tuesday 1 December and has been rolling out to the rest of the University including undergraduates in recent weeks. Articles delivered electronically to your computer
We are currently running a pilot scheme, delivering journal articles from the British Library in electronic (PDF) format direct to users' computers. The pilot will involve the Faculty of Social Sciences, and if successful we hope to roll it out to all faculties around Easter. This development should bring about a great improvement in speed of delivery and convenience of access for these articles. Using electronic resources to find journal articles: training available during January and February
These 45 minute training sessions are open to all students. There is no need to book - just come along. The sessions provide information about: How to find journals via the Library Catalogue / Broadsearch and their location in the Library building; How to use online databases to find out and access journal articles on your subject; How to make the most of MetaLib which is UEA's gateway to its electronic resources.
