How do I pay?
UEA registered staff and students: Add credit to your campus card by either adding cash at a money loading station (cash acceptor) on campus or by using the online payment facility (minimum £5) accessible via 'your account' on UEA networked computers.
Library visitors and external borrowers: Pay with cash on one of two coin operated photocopiers based on floor 01 and floor 0 in the Library. These machines do not give change.
Cash acceptors can be found in the following locations:
Library Floor 0 (24 hr IT Area)
Library Main building (floor 0)
ARTS 1 Building (Floor 1 IT computing corridor)
How do I use the cash acceptor?
- Insert your campus card in the machine with the magnetic strip to the right. The screen will display your user name and your current balance.
- Insert coins (except 1p and 2p) or notes (£5, £10, £20). Your balance will increase as money is inserted.
- Press Cancel button to exit.
Please note:
- The Cash Acceptors do not give change. Once added, money can be transferred to another user but cannot be refunded.
- Credit over the value of £10 can be charged to your campus card at the Library Helpdesk through an authorised account. A valid account code must be provided from your School/Department.
- All copies including imperfect copies caused by anything other than mechanical faults must be paid for.
- Copyright regulations must be observed at all times.
- All faults should be reported to the staff at the Library Helpdesk
