Opening hours for individual services are provided below. For more information about each service / facility click on the service's name (in blue).

Borrowing / Returning Library Materials:

Items can be borrowed  at all times via self-issue machines. Items can be returned at all times using return machines inside the Library entrance

Information about services outside of staffed hours

Details are provided below of dates/times when Library staff are on duty.

Outside of these hours the Library is staffed by security personnel only and  you will need a valid UEA campus card to enter the Library building. See Information for visitors for information about the issue of Day Passes.

During the times when the Library is staffed by security personnel only (i.e. outside of the times below) the following self-service facilities are available:
 

• Enquiries can be logged via email or reported to the security staff on duty. These will be dealt with during staff hours on the next working day. 
• Access to computer facilities
• Access to print and photocopy facilities
• Access to facilities to top up your print credit (either online or via the VCA)
• Access to study spaces including group study rooms
• Access to Library physical collections, including High Demand and audio visual material
• Access to Library electronic resources
• Self-issue  and self-return of Libary material
• Payment of fines (via the self-issue machines)
• Access to lockers
