Getting to UEA on the UEA website will help you to locate the University campus and the campus map enables you to locate the Library building in which most of our services and facilities are based.IT Facilities:
To start using IT facilities you will need an IT Account. Visitors are not able to use IT facilities but there are public access terminals to use the Library Catalogue. There are also IT Areas elsewhere on campus.Library facilities:
To enter the Library building, borrow library materials and use printing and photocopying facilities you will need a campus card. Campus cards and IT user accounts are given to new students at registration. For advice about your IT user account and Campus Card visit the IT Helpdesk on floor 0 of the Library. An application for a campus card should be made by new students before arriving at UEA:
Either:
Upload a digital photograph of yourself. You will need to know your UEA registration number in order to complete this task. Your registration number is given in the Welcome letter sent by your School.
If you are unable to upload a photograph, download a Campus Card application form. Complete the form and send it back to UEA with a passport sized photo of yourself. Please make sure that your name and registration number are clearly written in the back of the photograph.
You can bring the completed form and photograph with you when you come to UEA, but the advantage of completing this task in advance is that your Campus Card will be waiting for you when you register. You will need your Campus Card to access IT and Library services, for some room access and to join the Sportspark or Union Societies.
There is training available in the Library for new students. There is available a Library Information Flyer both providing the key information that you will need. We have IT frequently asked questions and IT helpsheets available on this site.
