The Networking Team in ITCS support the technical aspect of all voice and data communications across campus. The ultimate end devices on these cables are the responsibility of others on campus such as Departmental IT/building support, ITCS Desktop Services, the ITCS Systems Team and Estates.
The Services
The Network Team provide services in the following areas:
- Main Campuses (Norwich and London)
telephony, wireless and wired access
- Student Residences (Norwich)
IPTV and broadband networking - Remote Access Services (Location Independent)
dial-up and VPN services
There are a number of on-line networking helpsheets and more general IT FAQs that include details of our networking services. In addition there are a number of projects that are undertaken by the team to update and provide new services.

This small team covers the 340 acre University campus (and beyond) in support of the electronic communication needs of the University including the approximate 4000 study bedrooms.
