What is the iLab?
At the heart of the LaRC lies UEA's Innovation Lab (iLab). This is a dedicated space which is designed to enhance group collaboration and creative thinking. It offers groups exciting opportunities to work together to generate a wealth of ideas, evaluate their merits, make decisions and agree actions. The unique combination of collaborative software tools, creativity and facilitation encourages participation and ensures the equal contribution of all. iLab facilitators, based in the Centre for Staff and Educational Development, can work with you to design tailor-made sessions that look for a balance between achieving task objectives, creating a positive group environment and accounting for the expressive needs of the individual.
Over the years, the iLab has proven to be an ideal environment for working on many topics that require co-operation and shared thinking, for example, problem solving strategic planning, team building, and creative ideas generation to name but a few.
