Blackboard support for students

For information about materials on Blackboard modules (e.g. lecture notes, tests, group settings etc.) you should talk to your lecturer as they are responsible for their own materials.

If you are experiencing problems logging on to Blackboard or have any other queries about using Blackboard contact the IT Helpdesk.

Blackboard Learning System - Year End procedures

Over the summer we need to prepare the Blackboard Learning System for the next academic year.  This involves creating new Blackboard modules, deciding what to do with existing Blackboard modules, and ensuring that both staff and students have access to the system.

Details of what you need to do as an Instructor on a Blackboard module are now available. Please read this information carefully and complete the relevant forms, if possible, by 7th September 2012.

Please note that this information applies to the Blackboard Learning System (i.e. Modules found under The Portal's Academic tab) and not the Blackboard Community System (i.e. Organisations found under The Portal's Faculty tab). No action is need for the Blackboard Community System.
