IT Training for staff
A programme of courses provided by CSED are available on their website. Courses are open to staff and also Postgraduate Students. The course documentation is also available for those unable to attend or who prefer self-paced learning. This course documentation can also be useful to those having a specific learning need.
ITCS Applications support
Support for particular applications - either on a one-to-one or small group basis - is provided by the applications support team within ITCS. The support generally lies somewhere between a formal course and helpdesk advice, to help you learn new skills in familiar applications as well as introducing new systems.
Microsoft Office including Access and macros, email, QLX/PMA Financial Management Systems, SITS, ResourceLink, Web CMS and Oracle Discoverer are among the products for which support is available.
If you would like help to find a way of tackling a specific problem, or feel there is a better way of performing a particular task, call the helpdesk on 2345 or email it.help@uea.ac.uk
to arrange for a member of the team to contact you.
