Q. What is Blackboard?A. Blackboard is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). This term describes software which provides a range of computer-based tools for teaching, learning and student support. Access to Blackboard is via a Web browser.
Q. I cannot login to Blackboard?
A. Please phone IT Helpdesk on 01603 593169 or visit the IT Helpdesk on Floor 0 of the Library.
Q. Are there any rules and regulations that cover my use of Blackboard?
A. Blackboard is covered by the University’s Conditions of Computer Use, which explain appropriate uses of the University’s computer and data network. These can be found at https://www.uea.ac.uk/is/itregs/usepols
Q. How do I access my Blackboard courses/modules?
A. All your courses/modules will be listed under the My Module heading on the Academic tab on The Portal. Click on the course/module title to access the course/module.
