It is possible to print in mono (black/white) or colour from any workstation in Information Services managed IT Areas and also via our web print service from your own pc.
Colour printing=30p per page

2. Insert money in the form of coins (10p, 20p, 50p, £1 or £2) or notes (£5, £10, £20). Your balance will increment as money is inserted.
3. Press Cancel button to exit. A receipt will be issued confirming how much money you have credited and your new balance.
Please note that the Cash Acceptor machine will not give change. Once added, credit can be transferred to another user but can not be refunded.
From the file menu select Print Preview
When you are ready to print:
From the file menu select Print
To print to a black and white printer select the default option ‘UEA-Black & White A4’
To print to a colour printer select ‘UEA-Colour A4’ or UEA-Colour A3’
A print notification message will popup showing the cost, click Ok to confirm.
You do not have to obtain your print immediately. A message will appear on your screen, at the bottom right corner, informing you that you have up to 2 hours to obtain your print out. Your print out can be obtained from any of the release stations
NOTE: it is always a good idea to preview your work on screen prior to printing
From the file menu select Print Preview
When you are ready to print:
Log onto the web client https://ueastuprtps.uea.ac.uk:9192/user
Select Web Print from the left hand column
Click Submit a Job
Select which printer you would like to submit the print to
Click on Print Options and Account Selection
Select how many copies you require (if you select multiple copies multiple print jobs will be created)
Click Upload Document, and then click browse to find and select the document you would like to print
Select Upload and Complete
You do not have to obtain your print immediately. You have up to 2 hours to obtain your print out. Your print out can be obtained from any of the release stations
A list of your print jobs is displayed. Select the job(s) you wish to print with the mouse.
If you have inadequate funds a warning message will be displayed. Click Print.
You can remove unwanted jobs by clicking Cancel beside the print job

In order to print you need to add credit to your campus card by either adding cash to your card using a Cash Acceptor machine available on campus or by making a payment online (minimum of £5) using the online payment facility which can be accessed via 'your account' available on UEA networked computers.Printing costs:

Adding money to your campus card using a cash acceptor machine:

1. Insert your campus card in the machine with the magnetic strip facing on the right-hand side. The screen will display your user name and your current balance.2. Insert money in the form of coins (10p, 20p, 50p, £1 or £2) or notes (£5, £10, £20). Your balance will increment as money is inserted.

If you send a job to the colour printer you should ensure that you use a printer release station that has a colour printer attached There are three A4 colour printers available in ISD managed IT Areas ; ITCS building (Room 01.26), Library Floor 0 (IT Area) and Arts 1 computer corridor (room 1.01). There is one A3 colour printer; Library Floor 0 (IT Area).Printer release station instructions:
