Workshop     Digtial technologies and the Library: there's an app for that! (NEW for 2012-13)
  Want to make use of the wide range of digital study tools and apps but not sure where to start? This workshop will look at some of the issues in selecting information searching, sharing and storing tools and apps.

We'll also give you some practical tips and suggestions on a range of topics. The group will select their 3 topics to look at in more detail, choosing from: searching on your mobile or ipad; e-books; personal identity and security; creative commons licenced images/audio/video; networking using twitter and others; presenting using prezi and others; keeping track of searches using Facebook and others.
Suitable for Undergraduates, taught post graduates, researchers and staff.

The workshop is not subject specific, so it's suitable for all Schools.
