Accessing e-resources

UEA Library subscribes to a vast amount of information that is not available by simply searching the Web. This includes essential information that you will be expected to refer to in your essays, dissertations and research.

To view more detailed information about the UEA's E-resources please select from the list of sub-headings in the box to the left of this page.

To access all UEA's electronic databases, newspapers and e-journals use MetaLib, our Electronic Library.  If you are off-campus, login with your UEA username and password.

If you prefer, all electronic resources and journals are also available via Primo OneSearch.

On-campus access the majority of our e-resources can be accessed on campus without having to enter a username and password. This is because PCs on campus are within the UEA domain (IP range).

Off-campus access is either via EZProxy (for which you will need your UEA computer username and password) or via ATHENS

The following help is available:
Printable helpsheets about MetaLibSaving records in MetaLib and SFX
The Library provides workshops, online tutorials for new students and students  and videos to help you with finding information including e-resources.
