Hosting, maintenance and development of the swipe card access system providing electronic access to certain buildings and doors within certain buildings and access to car park barriers.

How to access the system:

Software access is restricted to specific authorised personnel within Estates and ITCS.
Door access is either automtic based on your role at the university or is approved and set up by building managers.

If you are unable to gain access to a door/zone with your campus card to which you believe you should have access then Cardax is denying you access and you should contact the Campus Card point at the IT Helpdesk in the Library.

For serious issues with access out of hours, please contact the Security Lodge on ext 2352.
