Replacing your campus card

Please complete the form below if you require a replacement campus card for the following reasons:

1. Your card has been lost or stolen

Please check with Library staff and the Post Room to see if your card has been handed in.
Once you have reported to Library staff that your card is lost, it may be worth checking with us again before you opt to have a new card printed. This is because....
When a new card is printed for you, your old card becomes invalid. Even if you find your old card unfortunately it is not possible to re-activate it.
Replacing a lost card costs £10. There is no charge for stolen cards if you show Library staff the crime number issued to you by the Police Force.

2. Your card needs to be replaced through wear and tear

There is no charge for this service.

3. Your card needs to be updated to reflect a change of detail

Please be aware that updates to your details are made in the relevant student or staff databases by your School or Human Resources. To enable us to print your card promptly, we recommend that you check that your details have been updated prior to requesting a replacement campus card.
Remember that this form should only be used if card details which reflect your current relationship with the UEA need changing. Therefore, please ensure that the relevant application form is used if applying / re-applying for a campus card e.g. 'V1 form', 'UEA Staff and Student Application Form'. Completion of the correct form enables us to process your application promptly.
Your new card is free of charge providing you bring your old card with you when you come to collect your new card (a £10 charge will apply if this is not possible).

Collection:

We will do our best to print your new card within 24 hours but please allow 48 hours at busy times.
It is recommended that you phone 01603 592419 to confirm your card is available prior to collection.
Your card can be collected from the IT Helpdesk. A replacement campus card is free of charge providing you are able to bring your old card with you when you come to collect your new card (a £10 charge will apply if this is not possible).
