The personal papers of Solly Zuckerman, Baron Zuckerman of Burnham Thorpe (1904-1993), documenting his academic and public careers. A Professor of Anatomy, endocrinologist and primatologist, Lord Zuckerman was also a scientific adviser to the allied air forces during World War II, and the Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA) to the Ministry of Defence (1960-1965) and to HM Government until 1971.
