The deposits now formally organised as the Archive of Modern Writing and Literary Translation arise out of the work of the University of East Anglia's British Centre for Literary Translation and School of English and American Studies.

The collection contains papers relating to the UEA MA in Creative Writing, deposited by Professor Malcolm Bradbury, recordings of Literary Festival events, works of translation and MA Creative writing dissertations.
