Image of Lorna Sage as a young woman.Lorna Sage (1943-2001) was Professor of English literature at UEA from 1994 and was twice appointed Dean of the School of English and American Studies. Lorna was a teacher as well as a literary journalist and critic, however she became best known for her autobiographical memoir Bad Blood (2000), winner of the Whitbread Biographical Award.

The archive includes papers relating to all aspects of Lorna's teaching and writing career, with an emphasis on women authors.
