Hello! My name is Shaima’a. I am the Middle East student ambassador at UEA, currently studying Molecular Biology & Genetics at the School of Biological Sciences.
I choose UEA from other universities for its top-quality research reputation, the fabulous campus and its facilities. As well as Norwich being a beautiful small city, considering that’s it is one of the safest in UK. UEA is World top 200; European top 100 and UK top 20. It provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses taught and supervised by people known for their academic and research excellence. Learning here isn’t boring! Besides normal lectures, you get to have seminars, workshops, and maybe lab or field work depending on your course.
Many students from our region tend to have difficulties in English language, so they always have the option to apply to INTO school at UEA. You will be able to take an English course before beginning your studies at UEA. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply for an accommodation at UEA before arriving. There is a range of different rooms that you can choose from, from ensuite to shared rooms. My name is Emad Almutairi, and I am currently a postgraduate student at UEA. When I was choosing universities, I was mainly looking for a course structure which would offer me the best chances for future development.
The LLM course offered by the University of East Anglia is one of the best courses in the United Kingdom, offering a wide range of modules covering the most contemporary and important legal areas.
In addition to this, as an international student, I was also encouraged to choose UEA because of the reputation the university has abroad and the fact that it is situated in Norwich, one of the most beautiful cities in UK.
Norwich is in the eastern part of England and is two hours from London, and is a safe and convenient place to live. The people here are very friendly and there are many places to enjoy life in Norwich, my personal favourite being the spectacular sport facilities. You can practice your favourite sport in the sport park with your friends or you can ask an instructor to really help to improve your skills.
I really like living in Norwich and studying in UEA.
LLM Information, Technology and Intellectual Property Law
UEA is marked as one of the best Universities in UK for research and student satisfaction. UEA provides excellent facilities to students. It hosts world class academic, research and sports facilities. Academic, research and administrative staff are very cooperative and work hard to facilitate the community. I really enjoy studying at UEA because of the world class lecturers and great facilities such as the 24 hour computer lab. There are many social activates in UEA supported by the University and the student union.
