DEV PhD graduate has two articles published
Having been awarded a PhD from the School of International Development in July 2014, Aidy Halimanjaya has now seen two of her articles published.
Aidy had a peer-reviewed article published in the Climate Policy Journal. The article is part of her PhD project, supervised by DEV's Dr. Edward Anderson and Dr. Elissaiois Papyrakis. The article is entitled "Climate mitigation finance across developing countries: What are the major determinants?". It assesses the relationship between the characteristics of developing countries and the amount of official climate mitigation finance inflow. She also had a newspaper article of hers published in the Jakarta Post. This opinion piece is co-authored by Will McFarland from Overseas Development Institute, and briefly summarises climate policies taken from the manifestos of the two Indonesia presidential candidates. It also analyses what are political economic and historical aspects which will most influence climate policies in Indonesia.
