Key Research Interests

I’m interested in water allocation in closed river basins. My research focuses on the factors which determine the distribution of resources when emerging sectors such as industry or growing urban centres demand more water. Using a critical political economy approach, I want to understand how economic, political and hydrological realities mediate normative water allocation mechanisms.
