Biography
Working experience from the European Parliament, the Italian Embassy in Amman, the NGO Friends of the Earth Middle East, and the London Middle East Institute, Hussam has also been working for the World Bank, in Washington DC. After his studies in international relations at the University of Trieste (Gorizia), at SOAS, and at the College of Europe, Hussam is currently a postgraduate researcher at the School of International Development at the University of East Anglia, in Norwich.
Key Research Interests
Water security, Jordan River Basin, climate change discourse, Middle East, trans-boundary water management, conflict and cooperation over water, business regulations and private sector development, EU institutions and policies.
