The Graduate School aims to develop and support a distinct research community which draws together both research students and academics to create a vibrant and challenging intellectual culture.
The Graduate School offers a wide programme of seminars and workshops each year and provides facilities for working and socialising, as well as a Graduate School Student Committee that represents the student body.
To facilitate the personal and professional development of our research students, the Faculty provides an extensive training programme each year and offers grants to support research activities, attending conferences and the development of public engagement initiatives.
The achievements of our research students in teaching, publication and public engagement are recognised in our annual Graduate School Prize.
