Two creative UEA alumni have been made Jubilee Professors, as part of the build up to our Jubilee year in 2013. Ian McEwan CBE FRSL is an almunus of the School of English and American Studies and UEA's first graduate of the MA in Creative Writing. Jenny Abramsky CBE is also an alumna of the School of English and American Studies, former Director of BBC Music and Audio and recently appointed chair of the Heritage Lottery Fund and National Heritage Memorial Fund.
