£15,303 to £17,014 per annum pro rata
The successful applicant will assist the Laboratory Services Technician in providing technical support for laboratory services. Duties will include maintenance and checking of fume cupboards, dealing with waste chemicals, dealing with compressed gases and maintaining constant temperature rooms.
You must have at least three passes at A level grade A-C including a science subject. You must have experience of working in a science laboratory environment with a good knowledge of scientific apparatus, equipment, chemical substances and health and safety issues. The post is available on a 0.5fte indefinite basis from 1 March 2013.
