RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (2 posts)

£24,049 to £29,541 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Based at the UEA London Study Centre, these posts will support research on the valuation of intangible assets with the aim to explore use of data from Google's search services to improve the valuation of brands and trademarks. You will program crawlers to obtain data on frequency of searches for brands and trade marks from Google Trends; contribute to downloading and merging the data and collaborate on developing methods to improve the valuation of brands and trademarks.

You must have a Good First Degree and Masters level qualification in computer science, economics or statistics and be able to satisfy all other essential criteria for the role. The posts are available for a fixed-term period from 1 August 2013 to 30 May 2014 on a part-time basis of 0.5fte. Please note you must be able to commence in post by 2 September 2013.
