Senior Research Associate in Health Economics

(Fixed-term, available immediately, to be taken up before 31 May 2013 for 6 months on a full time basis)

£30,424 to £36,295 per annum

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic senior researcher with experience of human capital economics or management accounting keen to assist with a novel audit project to help quantify the stock of "knowledge capital" for research in a NHS Trust to ultimately provide a monetary valuation. The aim of the project is to build a comprehensive profile of all physical, staff and database assets etc. that contribute to research 'outputs' of the hospital.

The postholder will have a good first degree and post-graduate qualification in Health Economics, or a related discipline, and experience in health economic, health service or accountancy research.
