£30,424 to £36,298 per annum, pro rata for part-time

The purpose of this post is to provide exceptional research management to support Prof Sackley and her rehabilitation research group across a range of activities.

The postholder will have a degree or equivalent qualification and significant experience of budgeting and financial management, organisational management and excellent communication skills are essential in this post. Experience in a Higher Education administrative environment is desirable. The post requires initiative, and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. In particular, the post holder will liaise with University finance and research management structures, service user organisations, charities, industry, NHS networks and funding bodies. The post holder will work with the team to identify organisational problems and assist/lead the formulation and implementation of strategies to prevent and resolve them. The post-holder will also manage information for the team and collate reports, publicity material and web page content.

The post is based at the UEA although occasional national travel may be required to liaise with networks and service user groups.
